I've been shortlisted!

Back in October, or it might have been September, I applied for this student teacher scheme. Basically, it's this program where you can go and teach kids, in order to decide if you want to become a teacher or not! It's perfect for me, because I honestly don't know whether I'm cut out for teaching, I know that I want to teach, but there is a difference between wanting to do something and being able to do it! It sucks, but that's how life is!
Anyway, I didn't even think I would be accepted, but I was, and I've been short listed which is great! I have an interview next week, and I am absolutely shitting myself over it, I want this so bad but I'm terrified that I am going fudge it up big time! The interview process is a series of mini interviews, tasks and scenarios based on primary teaching..  I am terrible at meeting new people, and I get really panicky and can never get my words out in unfamiliar situations, so I'm going to have to work on that before next week! It was an opportunity I couldn't turn down, so even if I don't get past through the final stages, I still would have learnt something. It's all a learning curve!

I'll keep you all updated on how it goes, fingers crossed it all works out!

Peace, love and sausage rolls.
