HOW I AM GOING TO KICK 2017'S BUTT!

Hi Guys, welcome to my first post of the year. So far this year has already been better than 2016 in more ways than one - I am making some positive changes in my life, I have set the wheels in motion for some pretty exciting things, and I am finally learning to relax a little.

I've made a list of things I want to achieve this year, not so much resolutions as I don't think a change should be forced - it should come naturally over a period of time, or something like that anyway. Instead, I am working towards a bunch of small goals, and I am hoping to see a positive outcome for the big picture at the end of the year. Not all of these goals are major, but it's the little things that count.

DO JANE AUSTEN

I Didn't read as many books as I wanted to read last year, and after watching The Jane Austen Book Club last May, I decided that this year I wanted to read all of her novels.  If you fancy doing it too then let me know and maybe we can come up with a hashtag or something. If you're interested in taking part, please let me know right here.

TAKE MORE SELFIES

I don't like my face. It's a weird shape, my skin gets greasy far too quickly, and my eyes are too brown - ew.  I want to take and post more selfies to try and boost my self-confidence etc..

DO SOMETHING BIG AND LIFE CHANGING

Now that I have finished my degree and have been stuck in a dark hole of unemployment I feel that now is the perfect tome to do something big, something that I can look back on and say that 'yes, I did take a chance and did something amazing.'

LEARN TO DRIVE

This has been on my todo list for a really long time, I am fed up of having to rely on public transport and being late for everything. I can already feel the additional costs hitting my bank account, but it is definitely going to be worth it.

DRINK MORE TEA

There are only positive outcomes of drinking more tea.

What are your goals for 2017?
