MY TRAVEL BUCKET LIST

If you follow me on Pinterest you will have noticed that I have been filling up my travel boards like crazy over the past few days. I am itching to book my next adventure, (you can view my previous travel adventures here) only this is a little hard as I do not have a stable income at the moment - being self-employed is a pain in the ass. ANYWAY. Whilst I am improving my income all of my travel plans are currently on hold, but that doesn't stop me from planning all of my future trips, and making wishlists of all the places I want to visit.  Here are a few of the places at the top of my list.

MOSCOW

I know Russia is one of those places that you are told to avoid, but no matter what people have told me, Moscow is still at the top of my travel list. I mean, just look at it - it looks like a scene from a fairy tale. Plus, I am a massive history nerd, so after spending so much time learning about Russian history (thanks A-levels & Anastasia), it would be great to see the famous places in person.

GEORGIA - THE COUNTRY IN EUROPE. NOT THE STATE IN AMERICA.

I don't know much about Georgia, aside from the fact it was once annexed by Russia, and before that played a significant part in the Ottoman Empire.  You can see how both aspects of history have had influences on this country in a number of pictures across the internet. I love castles, mountains, and trees, so this is a definite on my list. I'll probably need to brush up on my Georgian history before I go though.

NIAGRA FALLS, USA/CANADA

I learnt about Niagra falls when I was in primary school, and have long since been fascinated with them. As well as being a history nerd, I am somewhat of a geography lover too (I subscribe to NatGeo) and love visiting natural phenomenon's. However, as beautiful as it is when it freezes over in the winter, I think I will be planning my visit in the summer!

SAN FRANCISCO, USA

Okay, this is a big one. I have been wanting to visit San Francisco for as long as I can remember. Maybe it is because I watched Homeward Bound at least ten times a month when I was a kid, or because I was obsessed with Charmed amongst other films/shows that were set there; Mrs Doubtfire, That's So Raven, Sister Act 2! The List goes on. When I was nine, I filled up a notebook of all the information I could find out about the city, history,  interesting facts, and I think I still have it somewhere actually. I want to go here A because I really want to, and B, to make nine-year-old me, happy.

THE PRYMIDS OF EGYPT

I am fascinated with old world history. I love ruins, and old countries, I love everything that the middle east used to be before wars started tearing things apart. Egypt, much like Rome still has a lot of old culture and historic elements that you can see and touch. Learning about history is like being told a story, and when you can actually visit the places in a story it makes everything seem that little bit more magical.

I hope that I get to visit all of these places one day. What are some of the places on your travel bucket list?
